Personal Trainer Jo can write training plans for anybody!
Here Angela explains how Jo helped her back on to the tennis court.
“I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of my knee. I have always been a very active person, walking, cycling and playing tennis.
I was told by my doctor I probably would not play tennis at least for the next 12 months. I was devastated.
My daughter recommended I contacted personal trainer, Jo Watson. I must admit I was a little sceptical but gave it some thought. I would! I had nothing to lose. What a great decision that was!
Jo wrote me a very detailed exercise plan to strengthen the muscles in my knees. This took a lot of dedication but I persevered on a daily basis.
After the first month I was feeling the benefit, I stuck to the plan and after the 8th week I was enjoying walking again, riding my bike and playing tennis. I was happy again!!
I am continuing with quite a few of the exercises on a daily basis. I can walk up and downstairs again, I walk without limping and feel confident again doing all the things I enjoy.
